A lot has changed in the past 3 months. About 3 weeks ago, Kaitlyn jumped out of her crib. We decided that instead of risking a broken bone, we would put her in a big girl bed. We converted her crib into a toddler bed that has a bed rail. For 2 weeks prior to this event, she was waking up every night at 3am. After she transitioned into the big girl bed, she started sleeping throught the night again. Naptime doesn't work out so well, and she ends up emptying the clothes out of her drawers and falling asleep on the floor an hour later, but night time sleep is not a problem!! Yeah Kaitlyn. Kaitlyn also continues to impress us with her vocabulary and memory. She is saying 4-5 word sentences, she says her ABC's, and counts to 11.
Here is Kaitlyn looking at the sea lions in amazement. She enjoyed the zoo - her favorite part was watching the other kids run around. She also got pretty excited to see the robins sitting in the grass in a "non-exibit" area. Kaitlyn is very much into birds and bunnies.
