Dad's Perspective...
Just read Dawn's blog and decided to add to the fun and give a typical day experience with the mother-to-be. Starting when she wakes up. She goes into the bathroom, uses bathroom, looks at belly in mirror, then goes to get something to eat. Goes back to bathroom and then back to bed. Hits snooze three times, gets up, goes to bathroom, gets something to eat, looks at self in mirror and then takes a shower. Once out of the shower, uses bathroom, looks at self in mirror, puts on sweats, then works from her office at home. At this point I leave for work. She then sends me emails of the baby at work, tells me how much she is eating, then gets dressed for work and leaves the house. She meets clients for lunch, works hard the rest of the day, then comes home and makes dinner. We eat, make dumb videos with the new video camera for the baby (which is too much fun) and most likely will never make it to the baby when he/she is older. Then we eat dessert, go to bed and watch tv, and talk about the baby. Dawn goes to the bathroom six more times throughout the nite and then morning comes. I weigh myself and have gained more weight again than Dawn. I swear, she gets up, walks past me to use the bathroom, weighs herself, looks in mirror at belly, then tells me I have a problem. She leaves bathroom, I look at my belly in mirror, and I wonder if I am pregnant. And this cycle repeats day after day....
